Site Closure

Following the latest update from the Government regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic, Jubilee Pool will remain closed until at least the 4th July 2020.

 

The safety of our customers and team remains paramount. We will continue to work hard behind the scenes to ensure that when we are advised that we can reopen, albeit with very limited capacity, we can do so safely.

 

Updates will be posted on our website and social media.

A community pool for everyone

Jubilee Pool is run for the community, by the community, and has been operated since 2017 as a charitable community benefit society.  

We have over 1400 shareholders in the community and run as a social enterprise – so all profits go back into the upkeep and running of the pool to ensure it’s here for years to come. 

This means we can continue to provide health and wellbeing to all and preserve the community’s amazing  Grade 2 listed art-deco building.

The pool will both be closed for cleaning and maintenance on Monday 16th September

Every fortnight we drain 5million litres of sea water from the pool and refill it. Check our planned closures section for more info.

Thursday Opening Times

Please note that we will be opening the pool and cafe slightly later from 10am onwards on Thursday 8th August due to a private hire of the facilities.

We keep these closures to a minimum and full use of the facilities will be restored as usual from 10am until 8pm.

This activity provides help towards costs like essential maintenance (eg sea wall repairs) to ensure the facilities are here for years to come for everyone to enjoy.
