We will be closed for swimming during our pre-planned cleaning drain downs and refills on the following dates (see our tides and cleaning page for more info).
We clean to keep the water as natural and safe as possible. The café remains open during these cleaning closures so you can watch us empty 5 million litres and the spectacular views across Mount’s Bay
During poor weather we may reduce the size of the swimming area by using lane ropes. This helps us minimise lifeguarding costs as a charity when the pool is less busy. During really severe weather such as storms we may close completely if it is unsafe for swimming. We will always contact customers with affected bookings via email and post notice of closures on our website and social media whenever possible.
Entry to the pool when lifeguards are not present is strictly prohibited and trespassers will be prosecuted. 24 hour security patrols are now in place for safety.
We aim to be open as usual over the weekend, however times may vary in the adverse weather. We will update this page with any further changes.
