In line with the latest Government and Industry guidance, things at the pool will be very different this year. Please bear with us whilst we operate within these restrictions. Please ensure you read this information in full before your visit.
All bookings MUST be made in advance. No walk in tickets will be available.
Tickets can be booked online here or by calling us on 01736 369224.
You can book consecutive swim sessions, but you will need to vacate the pool (and poolside) in between sessions. You are welcome to wait on the green terrace.
Bookings for the main pool are currently open until the end of October 2020 (when it closes for the winter), and until the end of November for the Geothermal Pool. The Geothermal pool will be open all winter, but we are staggering the release of tickets due to uncertainty related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Swim sessions are bookable right up to 60 minutes before their start time.
Main Pool: Open
Geo Pool: Open
Learner Pool: Closed
To enable us to manage capacity, and to allow us to regularly clean poolside and shared areas we will only be offering one hour swim sessions this year.
There will be at least 5 swim sessions every day that we are open (weather permitting).
Swim sessions will take place at the following times:
10.00am – 11.00am*
11.30am – 12.30pm*
1.00pm – 2.00pm
2.30pm – 3.30pm

5.30pm – 6.30pm* Geo Pool Only
Swim sessions are bookable right up to 60 minutes before their start time.
* These sessions are for adults only (16+) in the Geo Pool. All ages welcome in all main pool sessions.
Our maximum capacity for the main pool is 50 swimmers per hour plus 30 spectators.
For the geo pool our maximum capacity is 20 swimmers per hour plus 10 spectators.
The learner pool will not be open this year.
During October only the shallow end of the main pool will be open.
Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before your booked swim time. Wristbands will not be given out before this time. Once checked in, you will be asked to wait in the holding area until the Lifeguards signal you down to poolside.
A horn or whistle will sound at the start and end of your swim session.
Please exit the pool immediately upon the signal and change quickly on poolside or in one of the designated changing rooms.
Exit the pool following the one way system within 20 minutes of your swim session ending.
You can sunbathe on poolside during your swim session if you wish.
You are of course more than welcome to visit the cafe before or after your swim!
Entry to the pool for swimmers & spectators is through the ‘Bathing Pool’ gates. Please follow the one way system at all times.
Join the queue (observing social distancing) for the kiosk where you will need to show your ticket together with any relevant ID (for discounted tickets). We can only have one member of staff in the kiosk so please be patient, we will process the queue as quickly as we can.
You will be issued with a wristband and asked to wait in the holding area. Your swim session starts once you are called to poolside by the Lifeguards. You can change in the holding area if you wish, but take your belongings with you to poolside.
At the end of your session change as quickly as possible and exit the site (following the one way system) via the Cafe gates.
Accessible access both on and off site is via the cafe entrance.
Please dispose of your wristband responsibly after your visit.
All swim sessions will be monitored by our qualified lifeguards as normal and they will administer first aid as required.
Lifeguards are also responsible for ensuring our pool rules are being observed so please follow their instructions.
As an approved ‘Covid Safe’ Sport & Leisure facility we can continue to operate safely under the latest Government guidelines with the reduced capacities that we have already implemented. The only changes we have made in response to this guidance is that we are no longer able to accept bookings for groups larger than six both in our pools and in the cafe. Please remember that in England the rule of six includes children when booking.
We have contacted any customers who had already made larger group bookings previous to this guidance being announced.
We are trusting our customers to adhere to the rule of six when on site using our facilities.
Social distancing MUST be observed everywhere on site, including in pool. This is of particular importance under the new rule of six Government guidelines. Please follow the guidelines at all times for our and your safety.
Only household groups are permitted to have close contact.
Only our changing rooms without doors will be available for use this season. Please limit the use of changing rooms if possible, changing on poolside if you can.
There will not be any showers available at the pool. We encourage you to shower before leaving home.
Limited toilet facilities will be available on poolside.
Access to our disabled toilet and changing facilities will be available on request – please state at the time of booking that you need access to these facilities and alert the kiosk staff on arrival so that they can facilitate this.
Changing is NOT permitted in the Cafe toilet.
Clean changing cubicles are denoted by a green cone in the doorway. Once you have used a changing room, please place the red cone (underneath the green cone) on top. This signals to other bathers that cubicle is not clean, and to the Lifeguards that it needs cleaning in the next changeover.
Cones are regularly sanitised.
Please arrive at the pool ‘beach ready’ i.e. your swimming kit on under your clothes.
We allow wetsuits in the main pool. We ask that children who require nappies wear swimming nappies (you can buy these at our ticket kiosk if you need them).
Please only bring what you really need with you to the pool. Pushchairs can be taken down to poolside if you have an infant ticket.
Please bring water and sunscreen on hotter days as there is limited shade due to our open design.
If you require swim aids i.e. goggles, armbands, other flotation devices please bring these with you ensuring that you have thoroughly cleaned and sanitised them before hand.
We will not be allowing any other types of inflatables in the pool this season and we will not be selling them in the kiosk.
Please adhere to the clockwise one way system we have put in place around the pool to keep you and us safe.
In addition to our fortnightly complete drain down and cleans of the main pool, a third of the water will be replaced every day in a bid to keep the water as clean as possible.
The geo pool is fitted with a state of the art UV filtration system that operates on a 24 hour cycle enabling us to keep the water clean at higher temperatures.
The whole site will be closed every Monday for deep cleaning throughout this season.
Toilets and changing rooms will be cleaned between swim sessions and deep cleaned every two hours.
Touch points will be sanitised between every swim session.
Season Tickets & Annual Memberships will not be available to buy this year.
Tickets are only available for single swim sessions. Full details on our available tickets can be found here.
If you have a current Annual Membership, or have a gift voucher that you wish to redeem, please call us to book on 01736 369224.
We will not be hiring deckchairs or wetsuits this year.
You are welcome to bring your own folding chair if you wish, however we ask that you ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before bringing it to the pool.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your treatment time and wait patiently outside the treatment room after checking in to the Kiosk.
Please arrive dry and in dry underwear ready for your treatment.
Please bring your own water bottle so we can avoid using glassware.
Rachel will provide hand sanitiser for you to sanitise your hands on arrival.
Please bring your own pen to fill in the consultation form.
A thorough deep clean of the treatment room takes place between each treatment. Rachel will be wearing PPE and we advise you to wear a mask for the duration of your treatment.
Please read through our comprehensive FAQ‘s before visiting the pool. Please only call or email us with a question if you cannot find your answer here.
We are working with a significantly reduced staff team in order to be able comply with safe social distancing at work regulations. This means things might take longer than usual, please be patient and respectful of our team.
We will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards our staff.
We aim to be open as usual over the weekend, however times may vary in the adverse weather. We will update this page with any further changes.
