We provide concession rates on swimming for those with low incomes or with specific health needs and discounts for local residents.

Income Based Concessions

We ask you bring some paperwork when you visit in order for us to apply this discount to your entry ticket price. This may include paperwork or ID cards that show you are receiving:

Universal Credit
Working Tax Credit
Income Support
Job Seeker’s Allowance (JSA)
Income based housing benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Employment Support Allowance
Local Housing Allowance
Over 80’s Pension Credit

OR are a full time student (NUS card or ID card/letter)

Health Based Concessions

For health based concessions, as there is no longer a ‘register’ for disability we will consider this on a case by case basis, whilst trying to establish your needs a sensitively as possible. Evidence we may ask for may include paperwork to show you:

are a Blue Badge holder
receive Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
receive Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
have a visual impairment
have a hearing impairment
have epilepsy
receive Attendance Allowance or Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
receive War Pensioner’s Mobility Supplement
receive War or Service Disablement Pension for 80% or more disability
buy or lease a vehicle through the Motability scheme

If you require a carer to assist you when in the water, then your carer will receive FREE entry.

Age-based concessions

We do not offer a purely age based discount for those over 65 years, but hope you agree that our standard entry prices are very good value already. Full priced ticket sales help us offer the concessions above to those with low incomes or health-based needs.

U16's Swim Free Scheme

If you are aged 3-15 and live in the parishes of Penzance, Madron, Ludgvan or St Just then you will be able to sign up to receive a free swim pass for the whole season.

As other neighbouring Parishes join the scheme we will list them here.

Proof of residence will need to be shown and an ID pass will be issued to that child to show each visit/when redeeming tickets.

Our kids swim free scheme only applies to the main pool.

PZ Residents' discount

Penzance residents get up to 20% off main pool ticket prices and 40% off geothermal pool swim ticket prices. You need to permanently reside within the Penzance Town Council Parish to qualify for the discount since the council subsidises your ticket. Please bring along proof of address e.g. a bill or driving license to claim the Penzance Residents’ Discount.

TR Postcode Residents' discount

Cornwall residents with TR postcodes get 25% discount off Geothermal Pool entry prices. You need to permanently reside in Cornwall to qualify for the discount. Please bring along proof of address e.g. a bill or driving license to claim the TR Postcode Residents’ Discount.
